About Job

The Principal Planning and Scheduling Engineer is responsible for implementing project planning and scheduling systems, preparing and maintaining project schedules, and ensuring actual progress and forecast reliability. This role requires defining project objectives in terms of duration and resources, piloting project status, and ensuring forecast reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement project planning and scheduling systems to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  2. Prepare and maintain project schedules, including resource allocation and task management.
  3. Ensure actual progress and forecast reliability by monitoring and analyzing project data.
  4. Define project objectives in terms of duration and resources, and ensure that project plans are aligned with business goals.
  5. Pilot project status and ensure that project teams are aware of project progress and any deviations from the plan.

Requirements

  1. Engineering degree with 15 years' experience in project execution, preferably in an engineering or EPIC firm.
  2. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office tools, especially MS Excel.
  3. At least 12 years' experience in handling FEED and Detailed Engineering projects.
  4. Knowledge in EPIC work processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, AACE or equivalent).
