Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement radiation safety-related documents and procedures to ensure compliance with ministry requirements.
- Manage Thermoluminescent Dosimeter (TLD) badges, leak test, and calibration of radiation equipment for client facilities.
- Implement and monitor Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) monitoring programs and nucleonic gauge monitoring programs for Company facilities.
- Assist in overseeing adherence to Qatar's regulation on radiation procedures and management systems.
- Provide technical support in the proper implementation of incident management systems.
- Conduct random field audits to ensure compliance of the Radiation Safety Program by all Radiation related Contractors and Sub contractors.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
- Eligibility to secure a Radiation Protection Officer license from the Ministry.
- At least six years of related experience, including minimum three years of experience as Supervisory RPO level within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
- Extensive knowledge in managing a Radiation Protection program in an oil and gas facility or heavy industrial manufacturing setting.
