Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest cleaning standards of guest rooms, public areas, and service areas. You will ensure the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by providing a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Room Cleaning
    • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and making beds
    • Restock amenities and supplies as needed
    • Ensure rooms are clean and tidy before guest arrival
  • Public Area Maintenance
    • Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
    • Report any maintenance needs or issues to the supervisor
  • Guest Service
    • Provide exceptional service to guests, including responding to requests and resolving issues
    • Ensure guests have a positive experience and feel valued
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other Housekeeping team members to achieve common goals
    • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors
  • Adherence to Standards
    • Follow Raffles' standards and procedures for cleaning and guest service
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Previous Experience
    • Previous experience in Housekeeping or a related field is preferred
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Physical Demands
