About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our team at Al Futtaim Group. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for providing project leadership during the design stage, managing key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Provide project leadership during the design stage, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Manage the liaison and relationships of all key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, authorities, and construction site teams.
  3. Design Management: Ensure the effective management of the MEP design process, in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  4. Design Brief Development: Develop and maintain the MEP project design brief, ensuring that it is aligned with client expectations and company objectives.
  5. Resource Allocation: Ensure that projects are adequately resourced to meet performance criteria, and advise on company design management resource requirements.
  6. Cost and Profit Management: Ensure that cost and profit objectives are achieved, with timely reporting and forecasting.
  7. Document Control: Set up, monitor, and manage the document control system, ensuring efficient transfer and record of all documents and correspondence.
  8. Risk Management: Document and monitor all project risks, and instigate management strategies to control or eliminate.
