Wildland Firefighter

**About the Job**

We are seeking a highly skilled Wildland Firefighter to join our team at Vectrus. As a Wildland Firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to wildland fires and other emergency events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to wildland fires and other emergency events
• Participate in educating staff and the public on fire safety/prevention
• Perform duties in support of organizational metrics
• Adequately and honestly track all data related to metrics
• Communicate professionally with team members and others to relay information necessary for job success

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years' experience as a firefighter working on a DoD Installation
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
• Required certifications include Fire Fighter II, Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations, Driver Operator – Pumper, First Aid Responder, and CPR/AED through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Health & Safety Institute
