Job Title: Manager for the QIA Center for Investment and Financial Studies

The QIA Center for Investment and Financial Studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking Manager to support the operations of the Center. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of business and demonstrated academic excellence in their studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing logistical support to organize executive education workshops
  • Engaging with various departments at CMUQ to ensure smooth running of the Center
  • Working with faculty to design and create content for workshops
  • Providing teaching support during workshops, both with and independent of faculty
  • Working with faculty to conduct research and write case studies for classroom teaching
  • Providing support to the Center in conducting outreach activities and speaker sessions
  • Working with Center leadership to provide general support for the Center's operations
Requirements:
  • A graduate business degree from an accredited business program is required
  • Comfortable, competent, and efficient in managing and assisting with lectures, as well as running teaching sessions independently
  • Proficiency with Excel is required
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a teaching role or in the business sector
