Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Health and Safety Manager to join our team at China Railway Construction Corporation Saudi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing project health and safety plans, ensuring compliance with local legislation and standards, and providing a comprehensive health and safety service to support our construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project health and safety plans and policies to ensure compliance with company HSE policies and business objectives.
  • Provide a comprehensive day-to-day health and safety service to support construction activities, including conducting audits and investigations.
  • Ensure personnel training and corrective action follow-up are completed, and that all employees are aware of their health and safety responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement accident investigation, data analysis, and recurrence prevention programs and procedures.
  • Investigate and evaluate new safety equipment for appropriateness and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and used.
  • Interface with consultants, members, and institutional staff to formulate corrective actions and ensure that all health and safety issues are addressed.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Engineer with a minimum of 25 years of experience in managing health and safety on major roads and infrastructure projects.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Member of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
  • Minimum level Chartered Member (CMIOSH).
  • Experience in major Tunnel Blasting Projects.
  • Tunnel Construction Supervisors Safety (Tunneling) Course.

Requirements:

  • Ability to commute or relocate to Doha, Qatar.
  • Willingness to be assigned to KSA.
  • Salary expectations in the full package.
