Job Title:

Kariera Group recruitment services are actively seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for offshore oil and gas fixed platform projects. This role involves overseeing electrical engineering activities, including design, engineering, and management of electrical systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Engineering: Lead and perform electrical design, calculations, and analysis for project requirements.

  2. Deliverables: Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables such as electrical single line diagrams, load schedules, equipment specifications, and data sheets.

  3. Team Collaboration: Conduct interdisciplinary checks of electrical documents with mechanical, civil, and process teams to ensure seamless integration.

  4. Project Oversight: Oversee the electrical scope of work, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

  5. Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice during the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.

  6. Safety Compliance: Conduct site visits for inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

  7. Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of engineering changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle.

  8. Procurement: Coordinate with the procurement team for electrical equipment specifications and vendor evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering - Civil or Electrical Engineering

  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools such as ETAP or similar.

  • Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NFPA).

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering within the oil and gas industry.

  • Strong understanding of electrical system design for offshore platforms, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.

  • Experience in FEED, Design, and EPC projects with a focus on electrical engineering and adherence to industry standards like Qatar Energy, Saudi Aramco, ADNOC preferred.
