Job Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity to plan and supervise the preparation of pre-commissioning and commissioning documentation for projects, optimizing procedures, quality, HSE, cost, and schedule to meet Operations' expectations.

  1. Prepare and track progress reports by the pre-commissioning and commissioning team;
  2. Ensure subordinates and contractors comply with HSE rules and regulations;
  3. Direct commissioning preparation and execution on fabrication sites and offshore to deliver installations ready for operation on schedule;
  4. Manage activities from Ready-for-Commissioning (RFC) status to Ready-for-Start-up (RSU) status;
  5. Verify works adhere to COMPANY specifications;
  6. Coordinate with entities like Project or Construction Management Team, FO start-up team , RSES for smooth handovers to FO teams;
  7. Maintain transfer of COMPANY commissioning methodologies and procedures to personnel involved in commissioning works;
  8. Ensure activities align with COMPANY HSE procedures and standards;
  9. Plan and supervise preparation of pre-commissioning and commissioning documentation for projects according to COMPANY rules and procedures;
  10. Check pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are reflected in project schedules;
  11. Ensure succession of pre-commissioning and commissioning sequences with construction, schedule, and operations;
  12. Organize mobilization of pre-commissioning and commissioning teams as required;
  13. Monitor ICAPS database (pre-commissioning and commissioning) for each discipline;
  14. Verify pre-commissioning and commissioning files and corresponding dossiers;
  15. Track progress for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities;
  16. Generate progress reports and reserves for each pre-commissioning and commissioning task;
  17. Hand over fully documented and commissioned installations to operations/start-up teams;
  18. Follow up Punch List clearance before RFSU and after Start Up;
  19. Identify and order commissioning spare parts on time;
  20. Define utility and consumable needs for commissioning activities;
  21. Submit weekly reports to superiors and prepare special reports as needed;

This position requires a Degree in Engineering with at least 15 years of relevant experience in commissioning works in the O&G industry, including 2 years as Offshore Commissioning Superintendent or equivalent within O&G installation projects.
