Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical HSE Engineer to join our team at Bounty Hunter World in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing technical design and engineering services in Technical HSE Engineering for all assigned projects.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the technical quality of work in accordance with client procedures while considering quality, schedule, cost, and HSE. You will conduct Technical HSE Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects from initial concept definition phase through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the required client technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental, and safety policies are incorporated and followed in work-scopes and while conducting Technical HSE Engineering activities. Reviewing technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards, and practices will also be a part of your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical design and engineering services in Technical HSE Engineering for all assigned projects.
  • Conduct Technical HSE Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects from initial concept definition phase through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.
  • Ensure the required client technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental, and safety policies are incorporated and followed in work-scopes and while conducting Technical HSE Engineering activities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Chartered/Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.
  • 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and Codes related to Technical HSE Engineering.
  • Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.
  • Fluency in English with good verbal and writing communication skills and proficiency for conducting presentations.
