About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead our global projects and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional results. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our contract obligations, meeting project objectives within agreed timescales and budget, and ensuring the application of our Project Management System throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage senior managers to provide quality technical services that meet project and client requirements
  • Oversee the overall performance of the programme, including cost, schedule, safety, and quality, as well as staff performance
  • Develop and implement project management plans to ensure project success
  • Regularly communicate with company management and key stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are met
  • Define project governance, plan the overall project, and monitor progress
  • Manage project budget, risks, and issues, and take corrective measurements
  • Coordinate project packages and their interdependencies
  • Manage and utilize resources across projects, manage stakeholders' communication, and promote health and safety
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Certified Project Management Professional status or member of equivalent institution
  • 20+ years' experience in delivering fully coordinated, multi-disciplinary Project Management and Construction Management projects
  • Well-versed in delivering fully coordinated projects using the latest engineering design and collaboration tools, including BIM
  • Experience working for an international consultancy for around 15-20 years and over 5 years of experience in the Middle East
  • Ability to converse in technical matters across all disciplines associated with our Programme Management and Construction Management projects
