About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Internal Auditor to join our team at lxbfYeaa in Doha. As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our IT internal controls and governance processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with the Manager IT Internal Audit to deliver IT audit reviews and ad-hoc engagements, utilizing your expertise in IT governance and risk management.
  2. Develop and implement audit programs that align with international standards and frameworks, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy.
  3. Evaluate the status of our IT systems, processes, and tools, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for enhancement.
  4. Collaborate with employees across the organization to gather information, clarify audit findings, and prepare supporting documentation.
  5. Document and communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  6. Contribute to the development and improvement of our internal IT audit methodologies, enhancing our overall audit effectiveness.
  7. Perform other departmental duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant discipline.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing, preferably in the airline, international corporations, or consulting industries.
  3. Proficiency in IT auditing frameworks and standards, including ITAF, CobIT, ISO27K, ITIL, and NIST.
  4. Certification in CISA, CISM, CobIT, ISO27K, or equivalent.
  5. Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC) and data analytics experience is a plus.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and methodical skills, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Strong business acumen and the ability to work under pressure with minimal direction.
  8. A curious mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
