Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geomechanics Specialist to join our team at Energy Jobline. As a key member of our reservoir characterization team, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting mechanical models to optimize well placement and fracture design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current practices and identify opportunities for innovative improvements using data science applications to predict reservoir quality.
  • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously by actively participating in the well planning process to optimize landing zone using a variety of geomechanical data.
  • Monitor and track wells during and post-frac jobs.
  • Develop and maintain mechanical models to generate cross sections from well logs, maps, cores, cross plots, histograms, and summary tables.
  • Prepare written reports for different stratigraphic intervals to recommend placement of wells and supplementary processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in geomechanics and reservoir characterization.
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
