Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleanliness and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. as a Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Run sold room reports and verify room status to identify any discrepancies
  • Prioritize room cleaning and update the status of departing guest rooms
  • Assist in managing daily housekeeping activities and coordinate with other departments as needed
  • Document and resolve any issues with discrepant rooms
  • Prepare and distribute changes in room assignments and communicate with the next shift
  • Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of related work experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related work experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Supervisory experience in a housekeeping or related department
