**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - Material Handling to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive piping material handling studies for Offshore Compressor Fixed Platform projects, specifically for Qatar Energy.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct piping material handling studies to optimize layout and handling solutions for offshore compressor fixed platforms.
  • Focus on maintainability, ensuring easy access, operation, and maintenance in an offshore environment.
  • Evaluate and select suitable handling tools and vendor proposals for pipe supporting activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to integrate material handling considerations into the project.
  • Perform technical reviews and assessments of vendor equipment to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
  • Provide technical input for material handling strategies and procedures to align with client specifications and safety regulations.
  • Participate in design reviews and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential material handling issues.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including material handling plans, specifications, and reports.

**Requirements:**

  • Engineering Degree (Mechanical or relevant discipline).
  • Specialization in piping material handling for oil & gas or offshore fixed platform projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in piping material handling studies for offshore fixed platforms.
