Project Manager Job Description

As a Project Manager at Qatar Airways, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of assigned IT projects. This includes coordinating with business users and other departments to deliver solutions that meet defined business requirements within agreed timescales and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver IT projects in compliance with project standards and processes, including cyber security.
  • Secure that project plans are realistic, maintained, and properly resourced.
  • Ensure operational systems are adequately supported and manage systems support teams/suppliers for service delivery.
  • Continuously review and implement service improvements for uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Perform business analysis activities to analyze user requirements and define solutions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Business – IT Strategy and IT Budgeting.
  • Deliver IT projects using project management principles and Agile methodologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in design, implementation, and optimization of web applications and infrastructure.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of developers and mentor teams to ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Ensure continuous alignment of IT initiatives, team objectives, and priorities with the organizational strategy.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, technical leadership, and team management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
