Job Summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a highly experienced Senior Utilities and Process Engineer to lead the Utilities and Offsites Engineering activities for a large-scale LNG facility project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the EPC Contractor's Utilities and Offsites Engineering activities, providing leadership to drive decisions for multi-discipline issues, and overseeing the delivery of all aspects of detailed design, equipment, technical, and execution definition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage EPC Contractor's Utilities and Offsites Engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project objectives, requirements, specifications, standards, procedures, execution plans, and design verification processes.
  • Provide leadership to drive decisions for multi-discipline issues, progressing the execution of the project.
  • Oversee EPC delivery of all aspects of detailed design, equipment, technical, and execution definition, including procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of utility and offsite systems.
  • Work closely with members of the engineering team and align with the Engineering Manager on engineering needs, objectives, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the start-up organization to ensure plans are aligned for a smooth transition.
  • Ensure execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with client Operations, Policies, Standards of Business Conduct, and client Project Management System.
  • Responsible for knowledge of and sharing previous lessons learned, capturing and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a senior Utilities/Process engineer with a broad knowledge of engineering execution, including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore facilities design, construction, and operations.
  • At least 5 years of experience with utility systems (desalination, waste management, steam, cooling water, IA/N2, flare, and fuel gas systems) design.
  • EPC detailed design experience with large O&G facilities.
  • Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-Up experience highly desirable.
