Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, excellent creativity, and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include:

1. Creating and testing new cake recipes to meet customer demands.
2. Designing and decorating cakes according to customer specifications.
3. Managing inventory of ingredients and supplies.
4. Ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation of the baking area.
5. Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
6. Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
7. Ordering supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
8. Complying with and enforcing sanitation regulations and safety standards.
9. Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers.
10. Inspecting the quality of materials and condition of equipment used for cooking.
11. Creating new dessert recipes and testing new flavors.

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a bakery chef within the hospitality and catering industry.
2. Experience creating customized cakes for customers.
3. Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker.
4. Creativity and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
