  • Provide leadership in overseeing EPC CONTRACTOR's Worker Welfare programs and facilities, driving performance to meet NFXP Offshore's HSES Performance Excellence expectations and standards.

  • Support PMT EPCI HSES Heads and EPC Contractors in identifying Worker Welfare requirements as stipulated in relevant laws and regulations of the State of Qatar and NFXP Offshore CONTRACT, as well as CONTRACTOR HSES Plans and Procedures.
  • Support the establishment of EPC CONTRACTORS's Worker Welfare standards, protocols, and systems in Camps and on Site, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.
  • Ensure COMPANY oversight is provided for EPC CONTRACTOR's, Camp Operators, and Subcontractors to sustain NFXP Offshore requirements in terms of Worker Welfare management and achieve high performance standards.
  • Demonstrate visible leadership through attendance at key Project activities, such as management camp walk-throughs, award programs, worker welfare events, and welfare/camp committee meetings.
  • Support PMT/EPC/Subcontractor joint HSES Audit Teams in planning and executing Camp and Welfare audits, and participate in these audits where deemed necessary, providing subject matter expert input.
  • Ensure workers are treated fairly in compliance with the Labour Law of the State of Qatar and International Human Rights, with a strong focus on retention of identity documents, abuse, intimidations, harassment, restriction of movement, discrimination, workplace violence, and bullying.
  • Maintain and frequently review Worker Welfare performance data, generating performance reports, charts, and graphs, and provide regular performance reports to the PMT and EPC Leadership Teams, recommending improvement action plans with a risk-based approach.
  • Closely monitor Camp accommodation and food standards in all EPC Camps, reporting deficiencies immediately to the Leadership Teams for intervention, in collaboration with PMT Head and HSES Lead/specialists dedicated to camps.
  • Ensure Worker Welfare-related programs and protocols are established and sustained throughout the Project duration, including Safety, Social Works, Industrial Hygiene, Camp Management Standard, Mental Health, Human Rights, Grievance Management, and Dispute Resolution.
