Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Talent Pal. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics department, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Management: Supervise daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of all necessary supplies.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste, spoilage, and stockouts.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Transportation Coordination: Plan and schedule transportation routes to ensure timely delivery to various locations.
  • Manage relationships with transportation providers and negotiate contracts and rates.
  • Resolve any transportation issues, such as delays, damages, or delivery discrepancies.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, handling, and distribution of goods.
  • Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layouts and organization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the warehouse.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of logistics staff, including warehouse workers, drivers, and coordinators.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure team members perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations and reduce costs.
  • Utilize logistics software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the QSR or food service industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
