Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tool Engineering Technologist Intern to join our team at Boeing. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the investigation of basic equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to satisfy aerospace product design and build requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigation and Research: Supports the investigation of basic equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to satisfy aerospace product design and build requirements.
  • Design Reviews and Development: Participates in design reviews, collects design requirements, creates and revises drawings and models, researches the application of robotics, automation and new technology to support the build plan.
  • Compliance and Quality: Checks designs for compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation and Training: Supports the development and documentation of equipment and tooling inspection and usage instructions, preventative maintenance plans, and user training.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of aerospace product design and build requirements, as well as excellent research and analytical skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
