The Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Specialist to join our Service Centre team. As a Machinist Specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and reconditioning tasks on our machines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform reconditioning and repair tasks according to established standards and procedures.
  2. Collaborate with other team members and support functions to ensure efficient operations.
  3. Identify areas for improvement and implement waste elimination strategies.
  4. Provide training and coaching to team members to close competence gaps.
  5. Participate in improvement activities to develop key processes and tools within the team.
  6. Support and participate in problem-solving and knowledge sharing with other service organizations.
  7. Coordinate and plan daily work with the team.
  • Expertise in machine disassembly and assembly.
  • Knowledge of reconditioning techniques and frame tightening.
  • Ability to supervise reconditioning tasks and refer to SCTM scope of work when necessary.
