Job Summary

PS Tech is seeking a highly skilled Internal Audit Specialist to join our team. As an Internal Audit Specialist, you will be responsible for performing professional internal auditing work for Business Support and Corporate Services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement internal audit plans to ensure adequate coverage of all organizational and functional activities, management and operating systems, management practices.
  2. Perform audits of financial policies, processes, and procedures, and prepare audit reports highlighting recommendations and improvement opportunities.
  3. Conduct audits of operating processes and controls to evaluate the efficiency with which resources are employed and to identify profit and/or cost-effective improvements.
  4. Support the development of policies, processes, and procedures and examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems in place across various auditable processes.
  5. Provide assistance/support to IT audits and ensure that all IT-related risks are identified and mitigated by the Information Systems Department.
  6. Participate in inventory exercises when required.
  7. Communicate the results of audits via written reports and oral presentations to management and other stakeholders.
  8. Prepare audit programs to be aligned with engagement scope and requirements.
  9. Assist in the development of applicable policies, procedures, and processes.
  10. Work closely with the General Auditing Advisor/Expert to ensure compliance with PS Tech's strategy management policies, processes, and procedures.
  11. Stay current with the latest market trends and developments and stay abreast with current trends and leading practices in internal audit.
  12. Keep the General Auditing Advisor/Expert and Senior General Audit Specialist informed of significant issues that may jeopardize the achievement of PS Tech's goals.

Requirements

Qualification:

University Degree, preferably with a Major in Accounting and Professional Accounting Qualification; ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent (Master Degree)

Experience:

Mandatory Requirements

  1. At least 15 years post-graduate experience
  2. 12 years relevant experience preferably in the Construction or related industries.
  3. 03 years regional GCC experience
  4. Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken

Desirable Requirements

Arabic language skills
