Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify key customers and market opportunities for business growth, and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Technical Support: Review and verify plans and drawings from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accuracy, and create shop and as-built drawings as needed.
- Project Execution: Ensure that all work performed on-site and materials used are in accordance with the contract specifications.
- Contract Management: Monitor and interpret contract design documents supplied by clients, and ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze drawing/blueprint specifications and submit reports or recommendations for improvement to the project manager.
- Cost Estimation: Analyze cost estimates reports and submit them for approval from the project manager.
- Quality Control: Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
