Key Responsibilities

  1. Master every aspect of financial management to support effectively Treasury, general accounting, and cost control.
  2. Mastery level SAP and systems ensuring flawless and resilient financial reporting.
  3. Responsible for streamlining and improving the health and interface of business processes and systems.
  4. Ensure all processes are in line with the industry standards and latest regulations.
  5. Responsible for the company Segregation of Duty (SOD) matrix and control catalog.
  6. Work transversely with IS, Digital group, and operations to develop business intelligence.
  7. Ensure the business continuity is up to date and communicated to all stakeholders in accordance with IMS framework.
  8. Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSE Policy.
  9. Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards.
  10. Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.
  11. Own the SOD matrix and mitigating controls with the FIN team operationally and internal control for governance.
  12. Be the guardian of all access and critical transactions in Finance and including teams outside Finance.
  13. Ensure all profiles are managed in coordination with IS ERP team.
  14. Ensure all stakeholders are adhering to the principle of SOD and GRC.
  15. Own the SOD in Finance and ensure data is regularly cleaned in accordance with company rules.

Your Tasks

  1. Be the Finance SAP FI-CO super user, interface between function users and technical support team.
  2. Ensure all business rules, procedures, and methodology are communicated regularly to all stakeholders and updated.
  3. Lead improvements to Analytical Structure in line with business needs and finance rules.
  4. Coordinate with other SAP functions to ensure consistency of finance methods and procedures across the Company.
  5. Ensure the consistency of changes made on other SAP modules or external applications.
  6. Document deviation between systems and business workflows.
  7. Coach and develop functional users.
  8. Ensure the application of internal control rules in SAP, not limited to finance and including the critical supply chain flow.
  9. Identification and analysis of needs, framing adapted projects, and preparing business cases and follow up.
  10. Ensure an impact assessment analysis is performed for every change in the system and all potential impacts communicated to relevant stakeholders, preventive/corrective actions undertaken.
  11. Advise and assist COMPANY in defining solutions and developments related to Finance activities.
  12. Apply project and portfolio management principles.
  13. Maintain the portfolio of DMR, track all modifications, monitor trends, and support continuous improvement.
  14. Provide project management support to all projects as required, usually those that are transverse in Finance or beyond.
  15. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the master data.
  16. Be the guardian of all FIN systems supporting data accuracy and performance, data SME.
  17. Work closely with the data management group in IS to track data quality.
  18. Interface with data stewards and data owners to ensure data quality.
  19. Propose and maintain KPIs.
  20. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the finance business continuity plan.
  21. Ensure all relevant stakeholders are trained and capable.
  22. Liaise with IMS personnel in finance to organize rotation and support to wider COMPANY IMS team.

Your Profile

  1. Degree or master's in finance-related topic or engineering with extra finance qualification.
  2. Minimum 15 years' experience in the oil industry with deep understanding of Finance processes, cost, accounting, account payable, and treasury.
  3. SAP Mastery level in FI/CO, knowledge of PM, MM, and PS module a clear advantage.
  4. Professional qualification ACCA, CFA, CPA preferred; CMA and/or other additional certification considered.
  5. Solid understanding of accounting standards, internationally recognized professional qualification.
  6. Understanding of governance model and internal control framework.
  7. Product-Program management, Lean sigma, or Agile qualification is a clear plus.
  8. Delivered projects with added value using data analytics with customer satisfaction.
  9. Computer knowledge.
  10. Conversant with usual business suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access databases).
  11. SAP, Power BI.
  12. System architecture, data management, and user experience.
  13. Team performer with capacity to show integration and critical thinking.
  14. Open-minded, keen to share knowledge, problem-solving.
  15. Leadership and strong listening/communication skills.
  16. Fluency in English is mandatory.
  17. Comfortable with managing ambiguity, self-starter, and influence without authority.
