Python Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to build and maintain web applications using Python and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Python, Django, and related technologies.
  • Develop, test, and deploy code using agile methodologies.
  • Build, deploy, and manage applications using Docker and Docker-compose.
  • Automate the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline using tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, or other similar tools.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug applications to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Ensure code quality, code security, and document code using tools like Pylint, Pre-commit, and other related tools.
  • Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications.
  • Perform version control system tasks like Pull request, git merging, cherry pick, etc.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Python Development, with a strong focus on Django, JWT Authentication, REST API, filters, Serializers, commands.
  • Experience in SQL/Database and preferably in No-SQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Must have Docker and Docker-compose skills.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies like Jira.
  • Experienced in automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team.
  • Knowledge of Code Quality, Code Security, documenting code and other tools.
  • Version control system -> git concepts like Pull request, git merging, cherry pick, etc.
  • Knowledge of Linux system is preferable -> Ubuntu.
