Job Description

Mannai Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Team Lead to oversee and optimize our procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Procurement Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute procurement strategies tailored to the industry's unique needs and challenges.
  • Cultivate and Manage Supplier Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with industry-specific suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
  • Identify and Mitigate Supply Chain Risks: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, with a focus on maintaining consistent operations despite disruptions.
  • Ensure Quality and Compliance: Ensure all procured materials and services meet industry-specific quality and safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Optimize Procurement Costs: Monitor and optimize procurement costs without compromising quality or safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Technical Experts: Collaborate with technical experts to understand and meet the specialized requirements of equipment and materials used in the industry.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, particularly for critical spare parts, ensuring efficient management to support operations and maintenance.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Coordinate with logistics and transportation partners to ensure timely deliveries, especially to remote sites.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements, and ensure full compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required.
  • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management: Certification in procurement or supply chain management (CSCP, CPM) is an added advantage.
  • At Least 6 Years of Related Experience: At least 6 years of related experience in procurement, including supplier management.
  • Strong Negotiation and Contract Management Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of Procurement Software and Tools: Knowledge of procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems) is required.
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Detail-Oriented with a Strong Focus on Accuracy: Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy is essential.
  • Ability to Work Well in a Team and Lead Cross-Functional Collaborations: Ability to work well in a team and lead cross-functional collaborations is necessary.
