Job Title: Lead Sustainability Officer

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Sustainability Officer to join our team at lxbfYeaa. This role will be responsible for driving complex environmental protection requirements for large and critical Qatargas Assets.

 

The successful candidate will have a degree in Science/Engineering from a recognized technical university and at least 10 years' experience working in a world-class organization in the environmental arena, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drives complex environmental protection requirements for large and critical Qatargas Assets.
  • Leverages best practices to minimize potential environmental impacts and risks for operating assets.
  • Establishes and maintains environmental protection programs, including flaring, air emissions, water, groundwater, and noise.
  • Reviews the design of existing, new, and upcoming facilities to ensure that proper design considerations are incorporated to ensure that critical environmental aspects have been identified and are controlled effectively.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Science/Engineering from a recognized technical university.
  • At least 10 years' experience working in a world-class organization in the environmental arena, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Advanced knowledge across environmental specializations, expert knowledge desirable in at least one media (air, water, soil).
