Job Title: Civil 3D Modeler

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil 3D Modeler to join our team at Parsons Oman. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models of wet utility systems, including water mains, sewer lines, and stormwater systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain accurate Civil 3D models and drawings in alignment with project specifications and standards.
  2. Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure design integration and compliance with project requirements.
  3. Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless integration of wet utility systems into the overall infrastructure design.
  4. Prepare detailed design documentation, including plans, sections, profiles, and construction drawings.
  5. Ensure that all models and designs meet industry standards and project specifications.
  6. Conduct quality checks and revisions as needed to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
  7. Develop Civil3D Templates, subassemblies, pipe parts, and smart blocks.
  8. Develop alignments, profiles, and corridors and be familiar with creating and consuming Data shortcuts.
  9. Perform Surface cut & fill analysis and extract quantities from the models.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 7 years' experience in Civil3D, BIM Modelling.
  3. Proven experience as a Civil 3D Modeler or similar role, specifically with wet utilities and infrastructure projects.
  4. Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D software and other relevant modelling tools.
  5. In-depth knowledge of wet utility design principles and best practices.
  6. Ability to interpret and work with civil engineering plans, specifications, and standards.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with other civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM Navis Manager.
  2. Familiarity with local codes and regulations related to wet utilities and infrastructure.
