Job Title: Coatings Insulation Fire Protection Scaffolding Superintendent

Brunel Qatar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coatings Insulation Fire Protection Scaffolding Superintendent to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Safety: Demonstrate visible safety leadership and care for people, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Contractor Management: Act as the Company focal point for Coatings Insulation, Fire Protection, and Scaffolding matters, including approval of related documents submitted by Contractors.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Company and contractually defined policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Contractual Awareness: Apply contractual awareness protecting the Company position when engaging with Contractors on schedule, technical, and cost issues.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships, communications with contractor and company functional teams (safety, quality, engineering, business).
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate all CPY support function ensuring safe and efficient delivery in line with the construction schedule.
  • Contractor Competency: Ensure contractors ongoing competency processes and procedures are compliant to Company requirements and Qatar government regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Review and recommend improvements to ways of working, procedures, and plans ensuring effective and smooth project execution.
  • Constructability Reviews: Participate in constructability and construction readiness reviews identifying improvement opportunities with contractor team.
  • Advanced Work Pack: Understand the Advanced Work Pack process, confirming alignment with path of construction review progress identifying constraints and mitigations.
  • Activity Planning: Attend activity planning and risk assessment meetings, assist contractor in identifying schedule mitigations and improvements via the Advanced work pacing process.
  • Surveillance and Audits: Perform surveillance inspection and audits on the Contractors Coatings Insulation and fire protection equipment verifies its condition and validity.
  • Plan Review and Approval: Review, approve, and audit as required Contractors Coatings Insulation, fire protection, and scaffolding plans, procedures, method statement, PTW, and task instructions.
  • Onsite Meetings: Attends onsite safety meetings and toolbox talks to ensure there is a clear understanding of the activities that are to be performed.
  • Performance Analysis: Review of contractors daily, weekly, and monthly reports analyzing performance and verifying progress and status.
  • Reporting: Develops and issues CPY daily and weekly reports as directed by Line Manager.
