BIM Specialist Infrastructure and Digital Project Delivery

Brunel Qatar is seeking a highly skilled BIM Specialist to join our team in Qatar. As a BIM Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • BIM Requirements and Communication: Ensure that BIM requirements are accurately included in tender documents and effectively communicated to the supply chain and relevant stakeholders.
  • BIM Capability Assessment: Conduct thorough BIM capability assessments in each tender and evaluate tender submissions to ensure compliance with Employer's Information Requirements.
  • Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice to senior staff on complex BIM-related matters, ensuring the incorporation of BIM in the department is optimized.
  • BIM Project Setup: Develop, lead, and assist project teams in setting up BIM projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • BIM Model Development: Develop and deliver structured BIM models for Programs/Projects, both internally and in conjunction with the supply chain.
  • BIM Deliverables and Management: Plan and manage project BIM deliverables in accordance with the Project Schedule and BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • BIM Object Development: Manage the development of BIM Objects for the corporate library in coordination with the Engineering Services Department.
  • Design Project Support: Provide guidance and assistance with design projects to ensure they are set up and progress optimally.
  • BIM Implementation Monitoring: Develop and establish SLAs and KPIs to monitor and report BIM implementation within the Department.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop procedures to facilitate the sharing of content and knowledge throughout the organization.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the BIM environment.
