Job Description

Apt Resources, a leading recruitment company, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our client's team. Our client is a renowned company in the food services industry and is looking to expand their operations in the AME region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage, control, and develop a full Project Management Programme for the construction of Group outlets across the UAE, GCC, African Continent, and other Territories where the Group establishes outlets.
  • Site and Financial Management: Oversee the establishment of new outlets, relocation of outlets, and revamping of outlets, ensuring compliance with standard Local and International Project Management procedures.
  • Design and Construction: Liaise with the Group's store design partner to ensure Project Management of the stores meets the plan and design specifications, and ensure the efficient and timeous completion of the construction of outlets.
  • Time and Territory Management: Manage store construction to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness, and liaise with Brand Managing Executives, Operations Executives, New Business, International Managers, Franchisees, and Licensees regarding final approval of store design, layout, and image of outlets.
  • Supply Chain Management: Liaise with the Project Co-coordinators to place orders for equipment, and liaise with equipment suppliers and manufacturers to secure the most efficient supply and prices for equipment.
  • Communication and Coordination: Liaise with the International Operations Managers, Brand ME's, and New Business Managers on a weekly and ad hoc basis to ensure the correct and timeous construction of an outlet, and liaise with the Training, Operations, and Food Services departments in a structured manner to ensure the correct and timeous co-ordination of disciplines for the opening of an outlet.
  • Financial Management: Liaise with the financial department to compile project accounts, invoicing, and project reconciliation, and assist with developing, publishing, and maintaining intellectual property relating to development.
  • Concept Development: Assist with the development of new concepts where applicable.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience in the QSR / Restaurant sector at the Management Level would be helpful.
  • Experience in the Project Management of QSR / CDR outlets and the Construction Industry.
  • Strong Leadership / Interpersonal Skills.
  • Computer Literacy.
  • Financial Numeracy.
  • Highly organized.
  • Presentation skills with strong communication skills.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Highly developed conflict resolution and people skills.
  • Preferably with knowledge of the French language.
