Electronics Systems Specialist

Al-Futtaim Engineering is a leading engineering organization in the UAE, offering a wide range of products and services in construction, commercial, and industrial sectors. As a member of the Al-Futtaim Group, we have a wealth of experience in large-scale projects in the GCC.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support for facility instrument electronic, mechanical, and optical systems, including fabrication, installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  2. Perform and/or oversee troubleshooting and maintenance necessary to keep observing instruments operating at their peak efficiency on a daily basis.
  3. Collaborate with engineers to modify and improve performance or operating efficiency of observatory instruments.
  4. Design and fabricate electronic/electrical assemblies as required, using industry standard practices according to schematic drawings or other documentation generated by engineers.
  5. Ensure shop maintenance, including repair, maintenance, and calibration of test equipment, procurement of supplies and spare parts, and maintenance of catalog and instruction manual files.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics or Engineering degree.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in an equivalent position in the construction or engineering field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent.
