Job Title: Senior Geoscientist

At lxbfYeaa, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geoscientist to join our team. This role will involve providing expert advice on well design, placement, and formation evaluation to ensure that all aspects of our operations are coherent with the well objectives.

  • Ensure that all aspects of Formation Evaluation (FE), from early planning to data interpretation, yield value for money under the supervision of the Head of Subsurface Operations Geology.
  • Act as the main operational point of contact internally and for geological service companies involved in drilling operations.
  • Maintain vigilance and guarantee safety in all operated activities related to geological services.
  • Consolidate well-related geological and petrophysical interpretations in our patrimonial database and archives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on well design, placement, and formation evaluation.
  • Develop and implement effective wellsite operation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
