About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary nursing leader to join our team as a Nursing Operations Manager. As a key member of our Medical Division, you will be responsible for leading the development of our nursing strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving clinical excellence across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive nursing strategy that aligns with our organization's mission and objectives.
  • Provide expert advice to our leadership team on professional nursing and operational matters.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes for the centralized ordering of clinical equipment, supplies, and services.
  • Provide leadership on clinical projects, particularly those related to improving care pathways and implementing best practices.
  • Accountable for the overall clinical and operational leadership of nursing services, ensuring the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality care.
  • Ensure appropriate skill mix deployment and utilization of the nursing workforce, consistent with national regulatory and good practice requirements.
  • Provide clinical leadership and participate in direct patient care, maintaining clinical practice hours sufficient to maintain registration.
  • Enable, motivate, and empower nursing teams to demonstrate personal and professional leadership at all levels.
  • Develop and implement strategies and action plans to improve the quality of nursing care and patient safety and wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 9 years of job-related experience.
  • Advanced Diploma in Nursing and/or Midwifery (minimum 3/4 years duration) OR Bachelor of Science (or similar) in General Nursing/Midwifery/Mental Health/Pediatric Nursing.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience, with 7 years at senior clinical leadership level.
  • Valid nursing license in country of origin and eligibility for license with the DHP in the State of Qatar.
