Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at GreatWater 360 Auto Care. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process for over 700 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities- Verify payroll hours, commission/bonus, and payroll templates for more than 700+ employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Maintain the payroll system with current employee data.
- Collecting, inputting, and verifying timekeeping information for all employees.
- Import payroll template data to Paylocity.
- Apply manual adjustments regarding compensation (bonuses, changes, deductions, PTO, overtime, etc.).
- Answering employee questions, help desk tickets, and concerns regarding payroll.
- Respond to requests for information from various internal and external partners.
- All other ad-hoc projects and filing linked to Human Resources and payroll processes.
- Assist with the processing of child support orders and garnishments.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organization skills.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Highly proficient in computer skills and technology.
- Strong clerical, administrative, and general office skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet payroll deadlines.
- Ability to interrupt and calculate figures such as financial reports, discounts, interest, and percentages; ability to apply concepts of basic math.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications (specifically Microsoft Excel) with the ability to learn new and existing company specific software applications.
- Exhibits a strong aptitude in understanding organizational policy considerations and statutory changes with minimal direction.
- Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the company both on an individual basis and in groups.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent payroll administration experience required.
- 3+ years of proven, relevant experience in payroll processing in a fast-paced organization.
- Experience in automotive repair industry preferred, but not required.
