Job Summary

As a Maintenance Engineer at Marriott, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, tools, and appliances to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Order and stock parts and supplies as needed to maintain an adequate inventory.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and machines to ensure they are in good working condition and identify any potential issues.
  • Operate power lifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Complete life safety checklists to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in the development of disaster response protocols to ensure the safety of our guests and employees.
  • Respond to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, and evaluating employees to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or related role.
  • No license or certification is required for this role.
