ConsenSys Software Engineer Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead GoLang Software Engineer to contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GoLang and experience building scalable systems, with a strong affinity for cryptography and mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable systems using Go, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Work on the zkEVM Prover implementation and its integration within our architecture, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Contribute to the architectural decision-making process, shaping the future of our software.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, and testing, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues that arise during development and production, applying problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Prepare and execute backend migrations involving the prover, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Stay current with new technologies and industry trends related to Go, Docker, and AWS, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Prepare the open-sourcing of Linea's prover, promoting transparency and community engagement.
  • Ensure the best practices of code quality and security are applied in the code base, maintaining the highest standards.
Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with GoLang and distributed systems, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience with developing using ZKP, SNARK, or STARK technologies, with a deep understanding of their applications.
  • Experience with working on open-source projects and fostering open collaboration, with a strong commitment to community engagement.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, with a solid understanding of containerization and orchestration.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges and find innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a strong focus on collaboration and mutual support.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong foundation in software engineering and computer science principles.
  • Experience with other languages and technologies such as Solidity, TypeScript, Java, and/or Kotlin is a plus, as is experience with low-level programming and HPC.
