Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Threat Detection and Response Expert to join our team at Green Energy and Environmental Services Co W L L. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing cyber security events, designing and configuring automation and workbooks, and providing analysis and trending of security log data from heterogeneous IT security devices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze cyber security events using SIEM tools and other technologies.
  • Design and configure automation and workbooks to improve incident response efficiency.
  • Manage use cases for SIEM tools, including alerts and reports, in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Investigate suspicious activities across all products using EDR tools.
  • Monitor shadow IT for external threats and data exfiltration.
  • Provide analysis and trending of security log data from heterogeneous IT security devices.
  • Continuously hunt for threats and collaborate with relevant teams in case of suspected incidents.
  • Respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer/IT engineering or a related field.
  • Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting experience.
  • English language skills (reading, speaking, writing, and listening).
  • Good communication skills and teamwork.
