Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard identification reviews to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation plans.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the safe operation of our facilities and equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Safety) or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in loss prevention and technical safety in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on process safety and risk assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore and onshore drilling rigs, workover operations, and equipment, as well as related support facilities and well control equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read engineering drawings and documents and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in software such as PHAPro, PHAST, or BowTie.
  • Good command of English (speaking, writing, reading, and technical reporting).
