Job Description

This full-time on-site role involves providing day-to-day accounting support to the finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, processing invoices and payments, and assisting with budgeting and financial analysis. The Junior Accountant will work closely with the finance team and report directly to the Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide accounting assistance to the accounting department.
  2. Enter financial data into books, spreadsheets, or accountancy software.
  3. Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  4. Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
  5. Assist in calculating and processing payroll for employees.
  6. Process invoices/bills and pay suppliers.
  7. Reconcile accounts on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
