Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications on the Azure Kubernetes and Azure Web App hosting platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the multi-technology software service delivery lifecycle
  • Design, deploy, and maintain containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes and Azure Web App hosting platform
  • Work independently and have good communication skills

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on development experience using core Java, front-end technologies, and Oracle PL/SQL
  • Excellent understanding of Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Webservices, and Microservices
  • Good understanding of Cloud Native microservice architecture, database concepts, Kafka messaging system, Cloud Fundamentals, and Gitlab
  • Good knowledge of Azure Web App hosting & Azure native development practices
  • Good knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) setup and hosting applications
  • Hands-on experience in React JS is an added advantage
  • Know-how of CI/CD pipeline integration (e.g., Gitlab, Azure DevOps)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work as part of a global team
