Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Recreation Receptionist to join our team at The St. Regis Doha. As a key member of our recreation team, you will be responsible for encouraging and recruiting guests to participate in various recreation activities, promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage and recruit guests to participate in recreation activities, such as golf, fitness classes, and entertainment events.
  • Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities, including schedules, prices, and rules.
  • Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in the event of an emergency.
  • Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for guests.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and complete safety training and certifications as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as any other certifications or training required by local and state agencies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Related work experience in a recreation or customer service role.
  • Supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
