About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Abroad Work in Qatar. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for event management and project coordination.

The successful candidate will be responsible for offering stand/event room to potential exhibitors, preparing event hall designs and activities programs, researching suitable locations, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.

Additionally, they will seek and safeguard sponsorship, design registration forms and other promotional materials, prepare insurance cover, and ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, be fluent in Arabic and English, and have excellent experience in a similar role within the events or event-based industry in Qatar.

They must also possess substantial qualifications in the same sector as a Project Manager and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary range of QAR 12,000.00 - QAR 18,000.00 per month.

Job Responsibilities

  • Offering stand/event room to potential exhibitors
  • Preparing event hall designs and activities programs
  • Researching suitable locations and guaranteeing all necessary equipment is available
  • Seeking and safeguarding sponsorship
  • Designing registration forms and other promotional materials
  • Preparing insurance cover and ensuring compliance with legal, health, and safety requirements
  • Collaborating with catering services, stand developers, and equipment hire
  • Organizing parking facilities, security, first aid, and catering
  • Promoting the event and arranging production of tickets, posters, brochures, and sales materials
  • Monitoring disassembly and removal of stands

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Arabic and English speaker
  • Excellent experience in a similar role within the events or event-based industry in Qatar
  • Substantial qualifications in the same sector as a Project Manager
