Job Purpose:
As a key member of the Airswift team, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the Client project Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management program and ensuring the effective implementation of Contractor's HSE management system, during onshore construction activity associated with the Project.
Key Accountabilities:
(Duties include but not limited to)
• Contribute to the development of a proactive safety culture at construction sites, where safety leadership and values drive continuous improvement and create an environment of trust, transparency, and genuine care for people.
• Implement the Project Safety Plan, and ensure the effective implementation of the Contractors' Project Safety Management System and Procedures at the construction site, including:
• HSE Risk Management Program to ensure that project-specific risks are identified, assessed, mitigated via reduced consequence and likelihood, and communicated, enabling the project to be executed safely and efficiently and meeting project objectives. Ensure that risk mitigations include documented method statements and Job-Safety Analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HSE strategies, policies, and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on HSE matters.
• Provide training and support to site personnel on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices, and ensure that all personnel are aware of their HSE responsibilities and accountabilities.
