Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team at Siemens. As a key member of our financial reporting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Data Management: Obtain and upload tax information (P&L B/S) and IFRS data into our SiTax tool, ensuring seamless integration and data consistency.
  • Tax Calculations: Prepare and review tax calculations, including current tax and deferred tax, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Statement Review: Review opening balance sheets for acquisitions and perform plausibility checks on first consolidation packages to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Adjustments: Calculate prior year tax adjustments resulting from tax returns and field audits, and ensure timely entry of provision to return adjustments into SiTax.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Prepare reconciliation from finalised tax return to year-end TRP, ensuring accurate and complete financial reporting.
  • Financial Journaling: Prepare tax accounting journals to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be proficient in financial data management and analysis tools, including SiTax.
