Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technologist to join our team at Boeing. As a Tool Engineering Technologist Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the investigation of basic equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to satisfy aerospace product design and build requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Support: Participate in design reviews, collect design requirements, create and revise drawings and models, and research the application of robotics, automation, and new technology to support the build plan.
  • Design Compliance: Check designs for compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors, and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation and Training: Support the development and documentation of equipment and tooling inspection and usage instructions, preventative maintenance plans, and user training.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, as well as experience with design software and tools.
