About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Engineer Assistant to join our team at Ennismore. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and support to the facilities team.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of hotel equipment and facilities.
  • Source and contract suppliers as required.
  • Organize schedules & method of works and risk assessments for plant related areas.
  • Be on call for any plant emergency.
  • Carry out regular inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure that all supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of special events and functions.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Director of Engineering to help reorganize the department to ensure an efficient process of working.
  • Plan small guest projects to ensure minimum impact.
  • Oversee the team's work and contractors' work to ensure deadlines are met and work is completed to a set standard.
