About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spa Therapist to join our team at a luxury hotel. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional spa treatments and providing a high level of customer service to our guests.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Consultations and Treatments: Conduct thorough consultations with guests to identify their spa needs and preferences, and deliver tailored treatments to meet their expectations.
  2. Treatment Delivery: Perform a range of spa treatments, including massage, body therapy, and specialized treatments, to the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
  3. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  4. Retail Sales: Achieve retail sales targets by promoting and selling spa products and services to guests.
  5. Spa Maintenance: Ensure that all treatment rooms and therapy areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  6. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is serviced and maintained as part of a preventative maintenance program.
  7. Spa Promotions: Assist with spa promotions and events, including spa tours and consultations.
  8. Marketing and PR: Assist with marketing and public relations activities to promote the spa and its services.
  9. Knowledge and Skills: Have complete knowledge and understanding of all spa services and products, and be able to communicate this effectively to guests.
  10. Sanitation and Sterilization: Uphold the highest standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and spa policies and procedures.
  11. Prep Work and Room Maintenance: Perform prep work, clean, and restock treatment rooms as required.
  12. Guest Communication: Communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner, responding to their questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
  13. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other spa team members to ensure the smooth operation of the spa.
  14. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of guest visits, treatments, and purchases.
  15. Stock Control: Ensure correct information is recorded for stock control in accordance with the Senior Therapist.
  16. Treatment Laundry: Be responsible for treatment laundry stock inventory and security.
  17. Hazard Reporting: Report any potential or real hazards to management immediately and ensure that they are rectified.

Requirements
  1. Language: Arabic speaking is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience within a 5* or Luxury hotel SPA.
  3. Licenses and Certifications: Must hold a valid license to practice therapy from an Internationally recognized Institution.
  4. Knowledge and Skills: Must have knowledge of various therapeutic techniques for face & body, and essential knowledge about Hammam, Manicure, and Pedicure.
  5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and build strong professional relationships.
