Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at NorthStar VETS. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team.

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care and treatment
• Perform routine tasks such as feeding, walking, and bathing hospital patients
• Collect and process laboratory samples
• Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic procedures
• Provide excellent client communication and customer service
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with inventory management

• 1+ year of experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinic
• Basic knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
